Admission & Other General Guidelines
Admission to any course is based on the respective partnering universities eligibility norms as defined from time to time and all partnering universities & IMA reserves the right to refuse admission to any applicant.
An applicant’s admission to a course is confirmed for a particular batch only on the payment of the admission fee.
An admission to a course is not transferable to any other individual.
Application for admission into any partnering university courses must be made on the prescribed application form along with submission of admission fees and 8 passport size photographs.
Procedure/Instruction for Admission
- Prospectus / Admission form can be obtained from the institute or you can download from our download section.
- There is no entrance test for admission unless otherwise specified by the partnering university.
- The Admission into Distance Learning Programs is open throughout the year and you can enroll at any time if you meet the eligibility criteria.
On receiving the filled-in application form along with the course fee, the institute will scrutinize the same and student who fulfills the admission criteria will be admitted. Admission Procedure & Fees Remittance:
The admission procedure is very simple, with you meeting the eligibility criteria, you need to fill in the preferred University's form, attach the below mentioned documents along with the full fees payment, and courier it to the IMA Corporate Office, Ahmedabad.

- 6 Passport sized photographs
- Residence Proof
- Photo ID proof
- Photocopies of all academic certificates and mark sheets i.e. (True Copy attested by Notary Public)
- SSC
- HSC
- Graduation
- Post-graduation (if any)
- Others (if any)

- All fees should be paid by A/C payee Bank Draft in favour of Indian Management Academy payable at Ahmedabad.
- Study Material can be downloaded from the E-Books if provided by the partnering university or bought directly from the book vendor authorized at additional cost.
- Fee once paid shall neither be returned nor adjusted against any other programme of IMA.
- Fee schedule should be strictly observed by student for payment of fee by installment.
- Change of course shall not be considered after enrolment.
Re-Admission
Re-Admission of the students depends on the sole discretion of the partnering universities & their norms. No explanations thereto will be entertained.
A registered student must pay the entire course fee prior to the commencement of the Course. However for some of its courses, IMA offers payment by INSTALLMENT.
Installment Fee must be paid on or before the 10th day of Calendar month in which the installment falls due. In case the student fails to pay in time, a penalty of Rs. 100/- for every 10 days or less of delay must be paid along with the fee and the student may also be debarred from the course if he does not remit the fee on time. Should the grace period end on a holiday, all payment must be made by the previous working day.
All course fee payments are acknowledged by the centre on a pre-printed receipt or computer generated acknowledgement from the corporate office.
Cancellation of Registration
Every student is expected to maintain proper discipline and decorum, during and within the conduct of the course and otherwise.
Any student found misbehaving on the IMA web portal or using abusive or arrogant language in the groups/forums/chat etc. is liable to have his / her registration or terminated, without any refund of fee, even if otherwise applicable.
Refund
Admission fee is not refundable under any circumstances.
No fee is refundable in case a student is deemed to be a dropout and / or has taken courses stopover transfer.
Other Matters
IMA reserves the right to formulate and modify the rules whenever it deems fit.
